The Maintenance Tech maintains the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, GSLC established policies and procedures, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
Maintenance Tech Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years’ experience
- Must possess knowledge of federal, state and local codes and regulation
- Knowledge of State regulations applicable to skilled nursing facilities
- Knowledge of survey protocol
- Must have knowledge of mechanical systems, cleaning methods and chemicals, floor care, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and quality control systems.
- Plumbing experience is desirable
- Electrical experience preferred
- Carpentry experience preferred
- Compassionate and enthusiastic interaction with residents, families and coworkers
Education:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- HVAC certification preferred
Job Type: Part-time
