This is a rain, shine, sleet or snow position. A mail carrier is a very hard working, but rewarding position. Customers rely on the mail to be delivered daily and are appreciative of the hard work we put in. Are you ready for potentially long days and to be a part of a community? Your own personal vehicle is required to do this job. Typically, the cargo space requirement is an SUV and can be a van. This is not negotiable on space for your vehicle.

You must pass a federal background check and drug test.

This route is 138mi 6 days a week and is rated at 9 and a half hours a day.

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Mail Carrier to join our team. As a Mail Carrier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of mail and packages to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to handle heavy loads.

Responsibilities:
- Load and unload mail and packages onto delivery vehicles
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, and refrigerated trailers
- Follow assigned routes and deliver mail and packages to designated addresses
- Collect outgoing mail from businesses and post offices
- Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail deliveries
- Ensure all mail is delivered accurately and on time
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any delivery issues or complaints
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and fuel consumption

Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating different areas
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and carrying of mail/packages
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
