Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and protect the premises, prevent unauthorized access, respond to emergencies, and enforce company policies and procedures.
Duties:
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents
- Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
- Perform crowd control duties during events or emergencies
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid Security Certificate or License is required
- Experience operating CCTV systems is preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Military or law enforcement background is desirable
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
