Good Foods Co-op is seeking a high energy, positive, and customer-service driven employee to fill the position of kitchen shift lead. This position is fast-paced, requires a high level of organization, and a commitment to provide strong customer service skills. Previous leadership experience preferred.

Primary duties consist of: direction and management of shift duties including the direction of staff, receiving and fulfilling customer orders for the kitchen, stocking/maintaining designated areas, receiving and entering customer payments, and providing general customer support and assistance in a fast-paced grocery cafe environment. 

Successful candidates must demonstrate a high degree of efficiency and reliability, strong customer service skills, the ability to work as an effective team member, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task. 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work a flexible schedule that consists of day and evening shifts preferably. As a leader in the Kitchen, this candidate will be required to work one weekend day each weekend (either Saturday or Sunday). 

Must be able to tolerate repeated lifting, bending, twisting, occasional climbing, and a fast-paced, demanding environment. 

Previous barista, retail, or other customer service experience, strongly preferred.
