Assistant Store Manager

The Good Feet Store is searching for an empathetic, committed, energetic, and results-oriented Assistant Manager that desires a long term career in sales, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention. We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the day to day operations of our organization and inspire employees to be the best versions of themselves while providing a best-in-class customer experience. Candidate must be a quick learner, team player, have a friendly demeanor, and a “can do” attitude. This will be for our new store that is targeted to open around December 15, 2023. Travel to corporate HQ in San Diego, CA is required for first 2 weeks of training.

Essential Functions:

• Coach and develop team members in your store to surpass minimum performance expectations while preparing them to take on new roles and responsibilities
• Assists in coordinating store operations by organizing priorities to accomplish sales and profit goals
• Monitor store metrics daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly to measure success and continuously motivate staff to exceed assigned sales and productivity goals.
• Motivate and inspire employees, lead by example and model excellence in all areas.
• Consistently communicate and manage expectations for an exceptional customer experience
• Continuous training of Sales Associates using company provided training material regarding product knowledge, store operations and performance goals
• Create a friendly and inviting customer-first atmosphere and lead by example
• Support Store Manager with system processing and inventory control
• Responsible for resolving customer concerns
• Create a work environment that positions The Good Feet Store as a premium employer in your market

Job Specifications:

• 2 years of experience in retail/sales
• 1 years of Leadership & Management experience
• Proven ability to create a strong team culture of accountability and dedication to excellence
• Demonstrated ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment
• Analytical and critical thinking ability, including solving complex problems under pressure and adapting to internal and external changes
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Understanding of financial statements and ability to manage budgets
• Quick learner with strong organizational skills
• Able to balance attention to detail with swift execution
• Ability to work weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

This is a full-time position. Must be available for store operating hours, inclusive of weekend.
