Goober Peas Country Store is a small business in Boone, NC. Our goal is to Provide the best country store shopping experience to every customer with friendly and helpful service along with carrying high quality goods and services. .

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Operate cash register and credit card machine. Handle transactions accurately. Perform opening or closing store operations per company procedures.
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Light dusting and cleaning as needed along with stocking shelves and drink coolers with merchandise.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Promote and upsell products and services
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints or issues in a professional manner.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
