As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Global Technology Firmwide Platforms & Products' (FPP) Portfolio Management team, you are a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space, while being directly responsible for creating structures that enhance coordination in our product line.Our approach is to partner with FPP Product Line Leaders, Portfolio Operations Managers, Enterprise Agility Leads, Finance, and Strategy to increase focus on portfolio-level adoption and execution of portfolio management processes, standards and cadences that will connect strategy to execution.We will also drive focus on portfolio-wide priorities to enable products, product lines and portfolios to operate efficiently in the organizational ecosystem. We are accountable for executing portfolio management processes with our strategic partners to optimize the portfolio's overall value delivery against strategic goals & programs; and provide integration coordination, communication and monitoring of key performance targets & prioritization decisions. These processes and supporting governance are designed to ensure that IT investments are closely aligned with FPP's overall strategy, goals and objectives; and that we prioritize initiatives with direct impact on business results, value delivery, or key performance indicators set by GT Leadership. Job responsibilities Works across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communications plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives Enables operational efficiency by supporting training, maturation, needs assessments, and continuous improvement practices Drives adaptation and modification of our product-line framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized Implements a product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs Leads the execution of annual business planning process to calibrate priorities through top-down goal setting and bottom-up objective setting; and continuously review through the Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to evaluate the product line performance against key metrics, targets and objectives Establishes & monitors key performance indicators and metrics to track the performance and outcomes of IT investments; regularly monitor portfolio performance against predefined targets and strategic objectives; and provide recommendations to GT Leadership to adjust investment priorities and capacity allocation accordingly Conducts and provides portfolio-level analysis and insights for senior leaders to align strategy with execution; and remove impediments to execution Continuously collaborates and engages with strategic partners and stakeholders on cross-product coordination & synergies, remove barriers to success, help ensure delivery against GT Strategic goals, programs, and objectives, and create ways for teams to continuously optimize the value of the portfolio Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies Proficiency in IT portfolio management methodologies, tools, and best practices is essential; a deep understanding of portfolio management processes, including portfolio planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and performance monitoring Strong strategic planning skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate business objectives into IT portfolio strategies and initiatives Experience developing and presenting portfolio plans and performance reports, and building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams is important for success in this role; experience resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration to ensure project success and alignment with portfolio objectives Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field such as in IT portfolio management, project management, or related roles with a track record of successfully managing complex IT portfolios, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering business value
