YOUR IMPACT
The Data Engineer in Human Capital Management (HCM) is responsible for Data Modeling, Data APIs, Data Warehousing solutions and provide insights through Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms. This includes processes, procedures, and standards necessary to ensure data asset quality and usability in additional to create and maintain data models. Serve as the liaison and translation layer between the business and the technical teams across HCM..
As a member of the Insights & Analytics team in HCM, the role will require you to interface with HCM business to determine reporting requirements, build/maintain Data Models & Data Sources for BI Tools. Play a role of Data Engineer & Data Scientist in order to build, optimize Data Model and provide insights through BI & Analytics platform for various HR related functions. Manage data feed flow to HCM systems used by GS and to other downstream applications. Coordinate full project lifecycles and ensure successful completion of the various phases including due diligence and scoping, use case definition, functional design specification, development, testing using functional and operational test cases, production roll-out and user training.

The Insights & Analytics team supports all aspects of the Human Capital Management (HCM) divisions reporting which spans across headcount, attrition, compensation, recruiting, learning and talent data. The team is responsible for Data Modeling and to provide insights through various BI & Analytic Tools.
The Data Strategy and Governance team is part of Insights & Analytics which leverages various technology platforms and HCM data to support talent management processes, mitigate workforce risk, and evolve operational strategy. Through the coordinated expansion of reporting, analytics and technology capabilities across the division, Data Strategy and Governance develops data-backed solutions that empower HCM to recruit, develop, and reward the people of Goldman Sachs. The team is located across the globe including New York/New Jersey, Salt Lake City, Warsaw and Bengaluru.
