Position Overview: MUST BE 21 TO APPLY. As an On-Call Cannabis Associate at GOLDLEAF, you will play a crucial role in our post-production process. Your primary responsibilities will include harvesting cannabis plants. At times you will also help hand-trimming cannabis using various styles and guidelines while maintaining consistent output and packaging different cannabis goods, such as flower, concentrates, and edibles. You will uphold strict quality control standards and operate the PreRoll machine. Your keen attention to detail and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols and company guidelines will contribute to the production of high-quality cannabis products.

Responsibilities:

Cannabis Processing:

• Hand-trim cannabis using a variety of trimming styles and guidelines to ensure consistent output and appearance.
• Operate the PreRoll machine efficiently and safely to produce high-quality cannabis products.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance with quality standards.

Packaging Cannabis Products:

• Accurately package various cannabis goods, including flower, concentrates, and edibles, while adhering to labeling and weight requirements.
• Utilize packaging equipment responsibly and ensure proper storage of finished products.

Quality Control:

• Maintain stringent quality control standards during processing and packaging, ensuring that only top-quality products reach customers.
• Report on the quality of the processed material, promptly identifying and addressing any instances of mold, pests, or damage.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all GMP protocols and company guidelines to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety.
• Follow all state and federal regulations governing cannabis processing and packaging.

Facility Maintenance:

• Take responsibility for the daily maintenance and cleaning of the trim room, packaging room, and other post-production areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

Experience and Training:

• Previous experience in cannabis processing, trimming, or packaging is advantageous, but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Familiarity with different trimming styles is considered a plus.

Attention to Detail:

• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with precision and meticulousness.
• Understanding of the importance of maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of the job.

Compliance and Safety:

• Knowledge of medical marijuana regulations and a strong commitment to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Awareness of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them diligently.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing processing and packaging tasks.
• Ability to lift and move cannabis products and equipment.
