Position Description:

Goldkine is a licensed Class C Cultivation facility looking for passionate professionals skilled in cultivation and processing. Our mission is to produce the highest quality indoor cannabis flower and extracted products using our state-of-the-art facility, guided by our seasoned industry experts.
Establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices
Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
Identify and source new suppliers and vendors
Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Establish and update an approved vendor/supplier database
Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements
Evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies
monitor supplier and vendor compliance with contractual agreements
measure and manage the vendor and supplier cost, quality, and delivery performance
troubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concerns
manage risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases
introduce performance improvement measures for suppliers and vendors
work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements
facilitate timely placement of purchase orders
review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policy and procedures
develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts
monitor and reduce purchase variances to meet profit objectives
produce regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance
oversee the operations and daily activities of the purchasing department
direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions
This individual must be highly skilled in LEAN principles,
implementing and improving SOP's,
training team members,
communicating with suppliers and customers,
implementing and sustaining data tracking software for the facility.
Must be able to anticipate and react to inventory shortages and changes in suppliers,
delivery dates,
shipping requirements.
Accounting and reporting of inventory surplus,
product returns,
waste and damages must comply with state, City, and MED requirements.
Unloading and loading of materials, tools, and equipment
Ensure facility sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with standard operating procedures
Maintain quality control for the scope of work produced
The use of ladders in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations is required
Position Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis.
Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
Examine the levels of supplies and raw materials to determine shortages.
Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Evaluate new inventory to ensure its ready for shipment.
Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skills -
