Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting
• Helping patients transfer and ambulate by using proper body mechanics and safety techniques
• Demonstrating understanding of and adherence to infection control policies and procedures
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately and promptly
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
• Providing emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Reporting any changes in patient condition and needs to the nurse supervisor promptly

Qualifications:

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Proof of COVID vaccination required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and have a valid driver's license
