Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Taking and documenting vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Observing and monitoring patients for any changes in their condition and communicating those changes to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting with transferring, positioning, and mobilizing patients safely.
• Providing basic wound care and applying sterile dressings as directed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• 18 years of age or older
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
• The physical ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed to complete the duties of the position.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
