Summary: GVMH Medical Clinics consist of five clinic campuses: Clinton, Warsaw, Windsor, Osceola, and East Campus. We employ over 60 physicians and mid-level providers, offering a variety of services such as primary care, walk-in clinic, and many specialties. The Director of Clinic Operations should have extensive clinical and working knowledge in all facets of medical practices. This individual is responsible for all aspects of the clinics in the absence of the Executive Director of Ambulatory Services. They must work in collaboration with clinic directors, physicians, mid-level providers, clinic staff and other departments to plan, direct, and evaluate the care provided to patients and their families. The Director of Clinic Operations is a seasoned professional who is highly motivated, well-organized, personable and efficient. This individual must be able and willing to perform public speaking engagements internally and externally. The Director of Clinic Operations is tasked with decision-making and must be able to react quickly to situations and resolve matters in a timely manner. This individual leads projects and process improvement efforts that impact all clinics and ensures regulatory compliance for the clinics. They are responsible for the medical assistant float pool and Rural Health 2 clinics. The Director of Clinic Operations must be willing to have a flexible schedule which can often include time outside business hours and must be willing to travel to remote clinic locations as needed. Required: Bachelor#s degree Three to five years# experience in related field One to three years# supervisory experience # Responsibilities: This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. Networks and collaborates with partners in the community and other organizations to coordinate and expand clinical offerings. Rounds on providers and makes routine visits to all clinic locations. Corresponds professionally both verbally and in writing. Coordinates meetings and prepares material and minutes. Manages projects and process improvement efforts that impact all clinics. Oversees the Clinical Quality and Education Coordinator and Clinic Patient Advocate. Coordinates medical student clinical rotations. Coordinates provider onboarding#to include credentialing, licensure, orientation, etc. Assumes administrative responsibility for the provider clinics in the absence of the Executive Director of Ambulatory Services. Responsible for Rural Health review, policy maintenance and development, as well as Joint Commission Regulatory Readiness. Administrative advisor to Clinic Directors and staff. Liaison between provider clinics and hospital departments. Responsible for mid-level provider schedules, coverage and collaborative practice agreements. Plays an active role in quarterly provider meetings. Manages#clinic staff float pool and RH2 Clinics. Prepares affiliation letters for requesting organizations. Manages#all provider administrative needs including but not limited to: vacation schedules, CME, call schedules, RVU/financial reporting, and BNDD, DEA renewals, etc.
