We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and committed Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure patients receive quality care.

Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

Assist the dentist during procedures as needed

Take digital dental x-rays

Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care

Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software

Be able tp make excellent temporaries

Skills:

Proficiency in patient assessment

Experience with dental X-rays and x-ray certification

Strong knowledge of dental anatomy

Familiarity with medical terminology

Ability to work with Dentrix or similar software

Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus

Knowledge of medical coding principles

Previous experience in dental assisting preferred ( 1 year or more)

Understanding of medical records management and documentation
