We are looking for a highly motivated full time, bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant for a Private Office in Turlock, CA. Must have some knowledge of PPO/HMO Insurances, referrals and how to get authorizations. An ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of medical office experience within the last 2 years. Must be courteous with patients and staff and be able to work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision. Must be proficient with computer and office equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Professionalism.

- Booking Appointments.

- Reminder Calls.

- Checking Insurances / Collecting co-pays or deductibles.

- Getting authorizations.

- Answering phone calls/ returning messages.

- Greeting patients.

- Rooming patients.

- Checking Patient Vitals.

- Charting in the EMR.

- Scanning, faxing and copying.

- Medical Records.

- Reviewing Physician orders.

- Maintaining patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
