Program Overview:

This innovative 144-hour paid internship offers a “Golden Opportunity” at Golden State Foods, a leading light in Orange County’s vibrant food service sector. Dubbed the golden gateway to practical experience, this program invites interns to navigate through core departments of Human Resources and Communications. Students will engage with field experts, contribute to projects supporting GSF’s leadership, and immerse themselves in the multifaceted roles within the company. This opportunity allows participants to bridge their academic knowledge with practical skills, gaining insights into the company’s global operations, commitment to quality and innovation, and its values-driven culture. By program’s end, interns emerge not just with a wealth of experience but with a holistic understanding of the foodservice industry’s dynamics, ready to make their mark in the business management realm, equipped with insights from a company where every opportunity is golden.

Salary:

• $25 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Leadership Training Assistance: Help organize and set up leadership training sessions, ensuring logistics and materials are prepared.
• Communications Support: Develop internal communications that promote leadership initiatives, including drafting content for newsletters and intranet posts.
• Research and Analysis: Perform research on the latest trends in leadership development to inform strategy updates.
• Project Coordination: Assist with the management of leadership development projects, tracking progress and ensuring milestones are met.
• Feedback Collection: Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate level courses at UCI, CSUF, or Chapman University and must remain enrolled for the duration of the internship.
• Demonstrated interest in leadership development, corporate training, HR, and or Communications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. lawfully; GSF will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunities.
