Position Overview

We are looking for a Production Lead with experience in cable harness assembly to establish and maintain effective and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-15 production technicians
• Lead technicians through their shift by ensuring the team is set up for success to work safely and productively and serving as the point of escalation for hourly/daily operations to ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery
• Ensure technicians keep workstations clean and organized to 5S standards and update any 5S activities as necessary or as assigned
• Work alongside the supervisor to ensure shift capacity/capabilities by checking personnel schedules and attendance
• Utilize software to log issues, monitor product builds, and troubleshoot any delays
• Ensure that all tools and fixtures have calibration and PMs perform

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cable harness assembly
• Knowledge of IPC 620 standards
• Able to prioritize and multi-task effectively
• Proficient with technology and software
• Able to lift 40 lbs

Nice to Have

• Bilingual Spanish
• Experience in building/testing electro-mechanical wire harnesses and/or assemblies.
• IPC 620 certification (if expired, GSA will pay for recertification)
