Position Overview

We are looking for an Estimator who will estimate the materials, scope of work, and requirements necessary to accurately quote a project.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact when starting a new project
• Develop a deep understanding of each project and its requirements
• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Computes costs by analyzing materials, labor, and time requirements
• Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an estimator or similar role
• Experience in quoting materials and lead times
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use a computer
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

Nice To Have

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or another related field
• Background or previous experience in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
