PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Administration:

• Build and maintain solid work relationships with staff, management, customers, and vendors.
• Interface with project team to investigate and resolve issues to ensure jobs are invoiced accurately and within appropriate times.
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
• Reviewing BOL and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
• Notifies shipment arrivals, availability, and departures.
• Maintain and request missing documentation.
• Implement secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages; and maintaining supplies.
• Once Trained with Above duties: Dispatch of Port Drivers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, computer keyboarding skills, effective communication skills, friendly personality, organizational skills, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate politely and positively with Customers via phone, face to face, or email correspondence.
• Build and maintain solid work relationships with staff, management, customers, and vendors.
• Excellent computer skills and strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skill (both written and verbal), with all levels of management
• Qualified applicants must pass a background check.
• Efficient with Microsoft Office, Mr. Mover

Preferred Education/Training:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
