Behavior technicians work one-on-one with children and teens who need help reducing problem behaviors by replacing them with communication and skills building. We have a small team and are looking for just the right individual who already lives on O'ahu.

Behavior technicians are responsible for the following"

• Providing treatment sessions (ABA) in homes and in the community
• Taking data and reading graphs
• Running ABA programs
• Implementing behavior change procedures
• Running an upbeat and reinforcing session with multiple activities
• Communicating with your direct supervisor
• Communicating and modeling programs to caregivers.
• Maintaining your RBT certification

Qualifications:

• The position requires an active RBT certification. (If you don't have this certification but are willing to get it within a 2 week period - we will provide the 42 hours of training)
• Experience working with children
• Must be highly motivated, a team player, and able to take direction from supervisor
• Have good communication skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Aged 18 years at start of one-on-one services with clients
• Clean background check (10 years)
• Reliable transportation
• Be able to work a consistent schedule
• Willing to be taught and accept feedback.
• Can squat, run, lift 35 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
