Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant/ Geriatric Nursing Assistant) to join our healthcare team.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to participants and assist with their daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse - Monitor and record blood glucose
- Assist in feeding and ensure proper nutrition
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a comfortable and healing environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of center rooms and common areas
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to protect privacy and confidentiality

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursing home, adult day center, or assisted living facility is preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is a plus
- Understanding of infection control protocols and the ability to maintain a clean environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
