A 7 month-old little boy in Berks County, PA urgently needs your help. Even under these extraordinary circumstances, this is a tremendous opportunity for a nurse to join the world's very first Nurse-Managed home care organization. This happy little boy was born at 33 weeks (3-7 weeks premature) and was in NICU for 6 weeks. He diagnosed in Sept/Oct 2020 with CCHS (Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome) and his brain doesn't tell him when to breathe. When awake, he breathing on his own. G-tube was recently placed, and he can’t cry because of trach (wean off vent, then trach capping will help). Passey Muir trials (to get Trach out, decamulation, start capping it so the body can breathe on its own), but hasn’t gone well.
