Job Description:
Our team is looking for a maintenance technician with 5 years of experience in both commercial, and residential building maintenance. As a member of the Goldberg Properties maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the properties. This includes but is not limited to a monthly rotation of property walkthrough’s, responding to maintenance requests, occasional off-hours/on-call nights and weekends. We are looking for someone who has familiarity with older new England buildings, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues and solid communication skills both office and tenant facing.
Specific Responsibilities:

• Light Carpentry and basic handyman skills
• Repairing of acoustic ceilings, windows, doors, trim and, troubleshooting and repairing plumbing fixtures.
• Patching walls and paint, flooring, grout, and tile.
• Inspecting ceiling and floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork for damage and repairing them.
• Familiarity with light and door timers
• Meet with inspectors and contractors for subcontractor repairs.

Specific Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry
• Personal Transport and a Valid Driver’s License
• Provide your own hand tools
• Comfort with heights
• Strong work ethic
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
• Capability of working on an individual basis and as part of a team
• Self-starter
• Good communication
• Ability to navigate cell phone based applications.
