Summary:

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for providing technical guidance to support solutions development and integration during the procurement process. This will include evaluating Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure appropriate technologies and platforms are provided for the solution. They will connect with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify requirements and potential issues. They will communicate recommended IT solutions to the stakeholders while collaborating and coordinating with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures. This will include detailed specifications and documentation. They will assure that not only are recommended solutions are a fit a specific project, but also closely align with the standards and guidelines of technical solutions. Work closely with procurement teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives.

• Knowledge of Project Management, Risk Management and Change Management frameworks to process IT procurement management and architecture activities
• Able to proficiently use Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint) or similar software

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 – 12 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role
• Ability to apply methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical challenges, aligning software applications, services, platforms, and networks
• US Citizen with TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in systems engineering background and in concepts, requirements management, and delivery.
• Project Management and Leadership skills
