Gold Bond Building Products, LLC has an immediate opening for an hourly Warehouse Fork Truck Operator at our Portsmouth, NH location.

1st Shift (7am - 7pm) Monday - Thursday

3rd Shift (7pm - 7am) Monday -Thursday

Job Summary:

This position requires driver to maintain continuity through effective stacking of the finished product in the warehouse. Stacking of specialized gypsum wallboard product to meet production requirements.

Major Job Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

· Successfully complete a Forklift safety course and test.

· Perform basic safety and maintenance inspections on Forklift.

· Perform change out of Forklift fuel container.

· Ensure an appropriate level of housekeeping and organization throughout the plant to promote a continuous safe work environment.

· Ability to line up material for shipping according to company standards.

· Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment.

· Follow company policies and procedures of operating a forklift.

· Basic math skills required to count items correctly, pay close attention to detail, and manage inventory.

· Ability to properly stack board according to company policies and procedures.

· Bending, reaching above head, lifting dunnage, climbing up and down stairs, use handrails to climb stairs on forklift/staircase is a requirement of this position.

· Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using company forklifts.

· Ability to read small labels.

· Ability to work with SAP.

· Know and comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures

· Identify and communicate safety hazards and quality deficiencies to management

· Operate a forklift safely and efficiently

· Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace

· Perform other tasks as assigned
