Responsibilities

• Support design & devt activities & lead transition from support activity to small-scale projs by managing part & process devt Lead & support auto product devt & eng activities by investigating feasibility, designing using CATIA, conduct layout review, drawing creation & collaborate w/other functional depts. Create concepts & specifications that meet the cost, delivery, accuracy & quality targets. Lead the transition from task-based activity to small-scale projs w/in discipline by monitoring & tracking progress of projs & handle any issues that arise. Support mgmt w/ proj scope, scheduling, quoting & reporting for projs. Mentor & train other assocs. Telecommuting option – employee must live in OH. Multiple openings.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering & 5 yrs relevant exp, incl;
• 5 yrs exp designing BIW structures & sheet metal parts;
• 5 yrs exp using CATIA V5 in auto design;
• & exp in DFM/ DFA in Sheet Metal & Welding assemblies is required.
