Experienced and compassionate drivers needed for Non Emergency Medical Transport Company in Rialto, San Bernardino, Upland and surrounding areas. Weekday afternoon shifts and some weekends available.
Job duties include: 1. Driving company van with a co-worker onboard, greet and transport patients via gurney or wheelchairs (passengers) to and from hospitals to home, to and from facilities to dr's appointments, dialysis appointments etc. 2. Complete necessary paperwork for each trip. 3. Use company provided telephone (with routing software) to route the vans and communicate with dispatch, patients and facilities. 4. Always drive van in a safe manner. Ensure van is clean, fully stocked and has adequate fuel. Make sure patients and wheelchair/gurneys are secured correctly inside the van. Report any issues with the van promptly to supervisor.
Prior driving experience is a plus but not mandatory. Requirements include valid CA Drivers License, a clean driving record, ability to lift over 100 lbs, successfully pass a drug screening test, be vaccinated against Covid 19 and maintain a valid CPR certificate.
