Job Description:

The Parts Assistant will work directly with the Parts Inventory Manager. This position will be responsible for aspects of the order process including picking, packing, shipping and receiving. The Parts Assistant will also be responsible for the maintenance of the shop, Goff Welding equipment and assistance with repairs as needed.

The Primary Parts Responsibilities of this Role are:

• Receives and stores parts in the correct location and manner
• Ensures all received parts are free of damage and are in compliance with Goff Welding LLC policies and procedures
• Assists with inventory control procedures
• Maintains cleanliness of receiving area and ensures that this area is kept free from debris
• Performs other duties as assigned

The Primary Maintenance Responsibilities of this Role are:

Repair and maintenance of shop machinery and equipment, including but not limited to:

• Preventative maintenance tasks as necessary
• Repairs and troubleshooting
• Restoration of machinery and equipment to proper operating condition
• Inspection of non-operational equipment and the ability to rebuild components hindering the equipment from operating efficiently
• Working knowledge of tools
• Awareness of potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Ability to maintain a clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

The Primary Sanitation Responsibilities of this Role are:

• Inspect all operating and sanitation standards in the shop have been met to ensure a safe and effective on-time start of production
• Perform routine janitorial duties, including but not limited to: Emptying garbage, Sweeping and Stocking supplies
• Perform other required tasks as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
