Goelzer Investment Management is Hiring an Institutional Reporting & Operations Associate Near INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Job Summary: The Institutional Reporting & Operations Associate is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of Institutional presentation materials, quarterly performance reports, marketing and educational materials, and administration of our performance reporting and CRM systems. The Institutional Reporting & Operations Associate will also assist the with day-to-day coordination of the IAS team. 

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Produce and evaluate client reports demonstrating absolute and relative performance, asset allocation, adherence to Investment Policy Statements, gather topical or educational pieces for quarterly meetings, annual reviews using reporting software, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
  • Manage the IAS team’s operational needs and the resources available to ensure client needs are met (i.e. technology, workflows, software, meeting coordination, and research). 
  • Reinforce that reporting systems reflect precise and up-to-date information, identifying and working to reconcile variances between reported returns and manager composites. 
  • Organize and generate IAS team presentation templates, reporting templates, and ad hoc reports as needed to ensure a consistent experience for team members and clients. 
  • Coordinate and track the delivery schedule of each client’s annual initiatives, collaborating with IAS consultants and other Goelzer team members to ensure timely completion. 
  • Support IAS consultants in producing presentation materials for RFPs by generating reports, verifying information, and maintaining the database of RFP responses and exhibits. 
  • Organize internal meetings by assisting in preparation of meeting materials, recording and distributing meeting minutes and employing project management practices to ensure follow-through of all action items. 
  • Coordinate educational presentations/webinars and other IAS outreach initiatives. 
  • Serve as back up and additional support to the Client Relationship Specialist for account opening process and asset transfers. 
  • Administer the Institutional Client Portal to guarantee client files are updated, classified, and segmented accurately for the distribution of relevant materials. 
  • Perform additional services as appropriate to meet and exceed each client’s needs and expectations. 
Education & Work Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in economics, finance, or related discipline 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial services reporting and/or operations. 
  • Basic understanding of capital markets, investment concepts/knowledge of investment accounts and custody procedures is a plus. 
  • Relevant experience in project management operations is a plus. 
  • Experience with Performance Reporting software, such as Envestnet | Tamarac, Orion, or similar is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of a CRM platform, such as Salesforce, or similar is a plus. 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, and the ability to quickly master the firm’s CRM (Salesforce product) is essential.
  • Desire to continually learn new tools, methods, and improvements on the delivery of materials and services provided to clients. 
  • Skill in data management, data visualization, attention to detail, efficiency and consistency of processes, and organization. 
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration, dedication to professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, produce high-quality work, handle a heavy workload, and meet strict deadlines. 
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, good judgment, maturity, and poise.
