Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Godsey Martin Law Firm has an opportunity for a top-flight Collections Specialists that will be responsible for the collection efforts of the Firm’s case related accounts receivables. Must be an experienced collector that is able to maintain a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment while handling the maintenance, compliance, and processing of client case records, bills, and required file documentation. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Process releases and send drafting instructions as needed to get settlement funds in house
  • PIP

- Prepare PIP demands; fax & mail demands to adjusters

- Follow up on PIPs & collect funds

  • Disbursed Files

- Responsible for scanning disbursement documents to the Z drive

- Responsible for processing mail provider & lien checks

- Responsible for sending files to Guest Services team for closing

  • Assisting providers with disbursement status updates
  • Responsible for opening mail, verifying checks in Needles Software and preparing checks for deposit

- Communicating collected disbursement amounts through email daily

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

· Minimum of three years collections experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

· Must be able to work high work volumes and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service skills

· Good math/numbers skills

· Excellent organization and time management skills required

· Needles Case Management Software experience is a plus

· Ability to work in a team

· Great attention to detail and excellent judgement

· Ability to learn quickly

· Ability to meet GM attendance standards

· Bilingual a plus

· High school diploma or GED required
