Primary Responsibilities:

As the Founding Director, your role encompasses the comprehensive management and oversight of all aspects of our private preschool, including health and safety, enrollment, financial well-being, teacher support and management, staffing, training and retention, campus administration, and top-tier education and care delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

1. School Growth: Managing the parent experience from initial inquiry to enrollment, showcasing the remarkable work of our educators on social media and in the community, and educating parents on what sets our preschool apart. Efficiently managing operations to uphold our promises, retain our families, and consistently create WOW moments for our children, parents, and teachers.

2. Partnership: Operating independently while maintaining strong relationships with families, faculty, and vendors. Collaboration with the Leadership Team, Parents, and the Community is crucial.

3. Teacher Management: Setting expectations, motivating, and retaining teachers.

4. Curriculum Implementation: Collaborating with teachers to bring the curriculum to life, constantly refreshing and implementing new techniques to enhance the learning environment.

5. Fiscal and Operations Management: Handling forecasting, licensing, and marketing initiatives to ensure efficient and effective center operations.

6. Cultivating Culture: Creating and maintaining a safe and enjoyable culture in a fast-paced environment.

7. Incident Management: Successfully managing incidents, communicating with parents, and adhering to state compliance procedures.

8. Backup Support: Ability to perform all essential functions for various positions within the School.

9. Positive and High Energy: Maintaining and fostering a positive culture within the school.

10. Teacher Schedule Management: Ensuring teachers are prepared and costs are kept at a minimal.

11. Compliance: Ensuring the school complies with safety, cleanliness, incident reporting, incident management, and other standards.

12. Vendor Relations: Working with vendors and suppliers to maintain the school efficiently.

13. Supply Management: Accurate and timely ordering of school supplies.

14. Enrollment: Managing the enrollment process accurately and creating WOW moments for our kids and parents.

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking individuals with strong leadership qualities and an owner's mindset. Compensation includes a base pay plus a generous bonus based on school FTE count, total teacher salary cost, supplies costs, teacher retention, and parent satisfaction and reviews.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.

- minimum of 2 years of Director experience in a licensed childcare facility.

- Profound knowledge of state licensing regulations, staffing, enrollment, and budget management.

- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

- Proven experience overseeing all preschool operations, including human resources, quality assurance, and facility operations.

- A successful track record in hiring, developing, and retaining staff.

- Strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.

- Maintaining compliance with Bright From the Start

- Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, frequent walking, sitting on the floor, and engaging with children. The ability to lift up to a 40 lb child in emergency situations is necessary. Candidates should also be capable of quickly getting up from the floor and standing up.

- Ideal candidates should have a warm demeanor, familiarity with Bright From the Start Regulations, classroom experience, and CPR certification.

- All candidates must pass a national criminal background check and communicate clearly in English with staff, parents, and children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
