GOCO Consulting is Hiring a Customer Support Staff Near Santa Rosa, CA

Customer Support Opportunity - $25 per hour

NO work from home – (except Paid training can be completed from home)

California Residents only

Seasonal Position: PLEASE READ - We offer Paid Training AND site work at $25 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a SEASONAL, emergency response community service job. When there is a Public Safety Power Shutdown event, you will be asked if you are available to assist at the sites. (Located all across California)

Contingent on passing a Drug Screen and Background Check

VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES NEEDED along with these MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
1) A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
2) DRIVE TO AND FROM WORK SITE (track your miles for reimbursement)
3) A SMARTPHONE TO USE MULTIPLE APPS
4) MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER

QUALIFICATIONS for Customer Support position:

  • 1 year of customer service with in-person contact
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and from assigned work location.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights and weekends.
  • Ability to report to work location on short notice (typically 24-48 hours from time of notification)

GOCO Consulting is looking for qualified candidates to serve as Customer Service Support (CSS) staff at Community Resource Centers in designated locations.

Successful candidates will be added to an ‘eligible to work’ list with Paid Training opportunities provided throughout the year. It is expected that most work assignments will be made during fire season (July-November) and during periods of heavy rain or snow (December-January).

Work would range from 1-10 days with events averaging 2-3 days and will likely include 8-hour shifts and involve working with community members during emergency situations.

CSS staff are responsible for:

  • Greeting CRC visitors, addressing inquiries and handing out supplies
  • Recording visitor attendance and inventory counts throughout the shift
  • Providing support to Customer Service Lead (CSL) Supervisor
  • Supporting CRC setup and teardown of sites

· Preferred: Ability to travel to sites based on your preference:

o Minimum requirement of up to 50 miles away;

o Option: up to 100 miles away; or up to 250 miles away from your location

A.M. or P.M shifts available

Fluent in additional languages is helpful.

This is NOT a Work from home position.
