GOAL Family Medical P.C in Lynbrook, NY is looking for one billing liaison/aide to join our 4 person strong team. This is a part time position (2-3 days per week) and in-person only. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, pays close attention to detail, goal oriented, very well spoken and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Collecting all outstanding balances owed by patients
- Coordinating outstanding balances with billing & insurance companies
- Resolve patient billing complaints and discrepancies
- Work with front desk staff to ensure accurate insurance information
- Send all remittances & correspondences to billing company
Qualifications
- Must have data entry & creation of Microsoft excel experience
- Must have at least a High School Diploma and some medical billing/coding experience
