Position SummaryWe have immediate openings for a talented Night Shift Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative. The schedule for this position is a structured 2-2-3 schedule rotation, 6PM - 6AM. Starting pay is $17.40 per hour with the ability to move to $20.40 once you complete your initial training and meet established performance criteria. Some training for this postion will occur Monday-Friday during day shift. This is an in-person position located in Virginia Beach.As a Dispatcher/ Customer Service Rep you will:

- Act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls
- Interact with clients to receive requests, dispatch orders and track couriers
Responsibilities Of The Customer Service Agent/Dispatcher
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
- Use radio, phone or computer to send couriers to pickup locations
- Monitor the deliveries and routes to ensure on-time-delivery
- Update clients with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
- Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
- Must be able to work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced work environment and be able to exercise resourcefulness and good judgement to solve complex logistics issues
- Must possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to assess client needs and relay essential products and delivery information to couriers
- Must possess strong relationship management and leadership skills to ensure Courier compliance with assignments
- Must be comfortable interacting with customers over the phone and be able to listen, talk, and type while processing client orders and requests
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Three or more years of experience in a direct customer service role required; five years of experience preferred. Equivalent experience and education in a related field will be considered
- One or more years of experience with dispatching on-demand or scheduled route work preferred
- Must be proficient with using a keyboard and Microsoft Office programs; must be able to learn and use dispatch application software and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routing
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
