Virtual School Psychologist
Location: Utah, Remote
Position Type: Full-time, School Year Contract Opportunity - Work From Home
Pay: $45/Hour
The Virtual School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of students enrolled in our virtual education programs. As a key member of our student support services team, the Virtual School Psychologist will work remotely to provide a range of psychological services, assessments, and interventions to address the diverse needs of our student population.
Responsibilities:
Individual and Group Counseling:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions to support students in managing personal, social, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Administer psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and special needs.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Crisis Intervention:

• Provide timely and appropriate crisis intervention services to students in need.
• Collaborate with school administrators to implement crisis response protocols.

Collaboration and Consultation:

• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a collaborative and supportive network for students.
• Consult with other professionals to address the holistic needs of students.

Individualized Education Programs (IEPs):

• Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs for students with special education needs.
Attend IEP meetings and provide expertise on psychological components.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Utah state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working in a virtual or remote setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use virtual platforms for counseling and collaboration.
