This position is responsible for the operations of the residential homes that are assigned. They work closely with the direct support staff on location to help ensure the best care for the persons served by MCDS.
● Protect the clients from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
● The day-to-day function of the homes.
● To help hire, train, motivate and manage all on-site staff.
● Routinely checking and maintaining the sites managed.
● Keeping all paperwork up to date and in compliance with the standards of MCDS.
● Assisting with the creation and maintenance of in-home care plans.
● Experience working with and developing programs for persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
● Prior management experience preferred.
● The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.
● Valid driver’s license
● Must pass a background check and drug test.
The position salary begins at $44,000 a year. MCDS gives bonuses at 180 days, one year, and on. Dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurances are available.
Other benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, retirement planning through KPERS, and tuition reimbursement.
All training is paid.
