REGISTER OF DEEDS CLERK I

The McPherson County Register of Deeds office is seeking applications for a Full-time

Clerk I. Skills and Requirements include: data entry, computer knowledge, good

handwriting, and excellent communications skills on telephone and with the general

public. Must desire to work independently and as a team. Minimum of one year of

office experience and/or knowledge of research and rules governing real estate. Ability

to climb a ladder and lift books when necessary. Beginning wage: $15.40 per hour

followed by a 6-month end of introductory period wage increase upon successful

evaluation, plus annual wage, and cost of living increases. County benefits included.
