Shiocton Cut Stock in Shiocton, WI is looking for one industrial maintenance technician to join our 40 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 to $28.00/hour
Hours Mon-Thurs 12:00pm to 8:30pm Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime as needed 1/2 unpaid lunch each shift. Saw mill shuts down at 5:00pm. Preventive maintenance performed between 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Job Description
Repair, fabricate, and perform daily preventive measures to keep and maintain equipment in operating condition.
Duties
1. Assist skilled tradesmen as directed.
2. Coordinate with skilled tradesmen and/ or assigned supervisors for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
3. Perform general and semiskilled maintenance activities for the purpose of completing project within established time frames.
4. Prepare written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information, Weekly timesheet, Work orders.
5. Responds to emergencies during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the machinery.
7. Adheres to safety practices.
8. Works with limited supervision following standardized practices and/ or methods to complete projects in a timely manner.
