GMF is seeking a Corporate Paralegal l to become part of our team! The Paralegal will provide support to all corporate business unit leaders including Executives and Department Heads. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, an effective multi-tasker, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment!

Responsibilities:

• Assist Executives with daily administrative duties and complete a variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments, reviewing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, and arranging complex plans.
• Establish itineraries and compile documents for all meetings called by the President.
• Organize and maintain documents in electronic filing systems.
• Communicate directly with staff on the President’s behalf to coordinate logistics with high-level internal and external meetings. Coordinate meetings and strategic activities with department heads, management teams, and other staff as directed.
• Support contracts management, including review and organization of agreements such as NDA’s, real property leases, vendor agreements, etc., as needed.
• Keep industry-related reference libraries, as well as internal policies and procedures up to date and organized.
• Review, track, and monitor legislation impacting company operations.
• Conduct internal audits and timely update leadership on results.
• Renew and maintain business entity documents and licensures, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience required.
• Litigation experience, a plus.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications.
• Ability to quickly compile and organize information and documents.
• Working knowledge of legal terminology (emphasis construction law preferred, but not required).
• Ability to handle and maintain time sensitive and confidential materials.
• Critical thinking.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle heavy work load.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to multi-task.

Salary:

• $60,000 - $75,000/year
• Based on Experience
