Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager at GMC Inc., a NYC Electrical Contractor located in Nanuet, NY.

The Full charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager duties would include but not limited to general day to day running of operations. Will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks such as preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing bookkeeping activities, handling tax-related matters, and overseeing accounting processes.

Must be highly experienced in QuickBooks accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
• Tax-related expertise
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with all payroll tax requirements
• Bank reconciliations
• Journal entries
• A/P checks processing, filing, maintenance of vendor files
• A/R recording of incoming funds, invoicing
• Monthly analysis of balance sheets and P&L accounts
• Producing financial reports
• Insurance
• Recruiting
• Filing projects with DOB
• Preparing Proposals

Requirements:

• Financial Statements and Finance skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software QuickBooks
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous experience working for a NYC Electrical Contractor a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Nanuet, NY 10954: Relocate before starting work (Required)
