Description

GluTox Health is an independent metabolic clinic focusing on providing affordable access to evidence-based medical weight loss therapies. The clinic is run by an experienced internal medicine physician and operates in collaboration with a local fitness and wellness facility. The Certified Medical Assistant role will be responsible for patient scheduling, patient intake, venous blood draws for laboratory testing, and in-office administration of subcutaneous medications. The position offers an opportunity for hands-on clinical experience in an entrepreneurial environment that is addressing one of the most urgent morbidities in the US health system with novel solutions and therapies that have demonstrated compelling efficacy in controlled trials.

Hours & Wage

The position will initially be part-time with an expectation of 20-25 hours per week. The clinical operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 12:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 11:00am. The CMA role should expect to be regularly scheduled for four of the weekdays. Starting wage is $25 per hour with a review after six months of employment. Employment benefits also include full access to fitness and wellness facilities at LAB Sports Performance.
