Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the GLOVIS Transportation Network by updating Logistics specific reports and documents that will lead to better overall optimization.

Compensation

$52k-$56k/Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

• Maintain iTMS routes for entire network: Route changes, Carrier changes, Missing routes, Carrier assignments, Miles per leg

• Carrier Insurance Monitoring: Request updated insurance certificates within one (1) day after the expiration date

  • Track, monitor and validate carrier’s insurance certificates and report the same to EBIX, GLOVIS' broker

  • Guide and explain GLOVIS’ requirements and coverage to vendors

• Complete and Publish internal and external Reports

  • Complete & publish Expense/Revenue Performance Report - monthly

  • Complete & publish HMA Alternative Shipments - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

  • Submit ALEC data - each Quarter

  • Ad hoc reports as requested

  • Maintain vendor contact lists

  • Develop and maintain network maps and other visual aids

• Occasionally updating Rate Schedules for carriers

  • Support operations team in providing rates and miles of new dealers and communicate with the carriers ensuring their confirmation

Qualifications

Skills

• Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must possess high level of attention to detail

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree Required
• 1-2 years of Direct Experience in Logistics or SCMRequired
• 2-5 years of Direct experience in Logistics, SCM or AnalyticalPreferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
• Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
• Lift up to 15 lbs.
• Carry up to 15 lbs.
• Stand/walk
