Summary

The Administrator, Outbound Operations position will be responsible for supporting the Maquiladora Senior Manager and Manager with managing the freight forwarding outbound functions. This position is responsible for timely equipment releases & allocation with carriers to ensure delivery goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment assignment & releases with carriers to ensure outbound performance surpasses monthly goals
  • Responsible for yard inventory management and facilitate with customers and Hyundai Translead for achieving out gate/delivery performance
  • Provide guidance to outbound specialist and troubleshoot when needed
  • Coordinate daily handling of outbound shipments, repositioning as needed for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Constant monitoring of track, trace to analyze outbound shipment for timely updates
  • Conduct analysis and provide statistical information
  • Accurate TMS data input to manage shipment data
  • Assist in development of delivery plans/forecasting
  • Ensure assigned equipment is delivered to meet sales and delivery monthly goals
• Communicate and facilitate with customers complaints to provide prompt resolution
  • Ensure timely/ accurate daily communications with all related parties on production, QC inspection, availability of units, availability of carriers, expected delivery dates, delivery reports, and miscellaneous requests fulfilled to ensure expectations are met
  • Perform other functions to assist team and other departments in order to combat discrepancies and fulfill customer needs,
    including POD auditing, profit and loss reporting, damage and total loss reporting, unit availability, and transit/carrier availability
• Other duties as Assigned

Compensation Range

$62,000- $69,000 Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills Required
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills Required
• Proficient PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, database management systems Required
• Logistics Operation Experience Required

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree Required
• Five (5) Years of Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Required

• Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
• Stand/walk
