Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Travel Booking Agent - WFH to join our team at GlobeTrek Consulting. As a Travel Booking Agent - WFH, you will play a key role in assisting clients with booking their travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, tours, and other travel-related services. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to support clients from anywhere while providing expert guidance and personalized recommendations.
Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budgetary constraints, and recommend suitable travel destinations, packages, and experiences
  • Travel Booking: Assist clients in booking flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel services based on their preferences, schedules, and budget considerations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookings
  • Destination Research: Conduct research on destinations, attractions, activities, and local customs to provide clients with personalized recommendations and enhance their travel experience
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations and alternatives to meet their travel needs
  • Itinerary Planning: Collaborate with clients to create customized travel itineraries that include transportation, accommodations, activities, dining options, and other relevant details
  • Travel Documentation: Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, and provide guidance on requirements and deadlines
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers to confirm bookings, resolve any issues or changes, and ensure that clients' travel arrangements are accurate and up-to-date
  • Budget Management: Help clients manage their travel budgets by providing transparent pricing information, offering cost-saving options, and ensuring that bookings are made within budgetary constraints
  • Emergency Assistance: Provide 24/7 support to clients during their travels, including assistance with flight changes, rebooking accommodations, and handling unforeseen emergencies or disruptions
  • Post-Travel Follow-Up: Follow up with clients after their trip to gather feedback, address any concerns or issues, and ensure their satisfaction with the overall travel experience
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in travel booking, customer service, or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems, online research tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, reservations, and travel documentation
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs and time zone differences
  • Passion for travel and a desire to create memorable experiences for clients
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with team members and clients
