COMPANY AND POSITION SUMMARY:

Fox Valley Solar is a Phoenix-based company providing Electrical and Solar New Installations, repairs, and maintenance throughout the State of Arizona. Since our inception in 2007, we have established a strong reputation for providing fast, friendly, clean, and always on-time quality electrical and solar services to our customers. 

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager responsible for meeting with and educating homeowners on the benefits of solar power and energy efficiency home upgrades. A Solar Advisor is responsible for qualifying homeowners’ needs and presenting options unique to the potential customer in order to guarantee the best possible customer experience throughout the purchase process. 

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS:

  • Speak with potential customers about Fox Valley's solar energy solutions
  • Drive the creation of leads to meet sales goals
  • Help homeowners to execute documents and provide the necessary information to go solar
  • Connect qualifying homeowners to appropriate personnel for additional incentives and obtain the necessary paperwork for incentive attainment
  • Collaborate with internal professionals to confirm in-home appointments
  • Independently sets in-home appointments for referrals
  • Participate in potential community events and uses collateral to inform customers of benefits
  • Provides necessary documents and photos for sight surveys, engineering, and project design
  • Provides a high level of customer service throughout the customer’s lifecycle from approval to system on
  • Mentors and trains newer team members, contributing knowledge and enthusiasm to the office team
  • 80 % of work performed in the field
  • Actively contacts happy customers for referral opportunities
  • Host and conduct in-home solar events (potential ambassador program)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of work experience in a quota-driven sales position, with a demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • 2 years of Solar Industry experience. 
  • A demonstrated aptitude for cold calling, canvassing or otherwise building a book of business
  • A valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (e.i. no DUI in the last three years), and a reliable form of transportation.
  • In-home sales experience (PREFERRED)
  • CRM / dashboard experience (PREFERRED) 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (PREFERRED)
  • Bachelor’s/Undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar (PREFERRED)
