Clinical Systems Admin Support
REMOTE
Duties:As part of the clinical systems admin team, the Clinical Systems Tester with Clinical Services system vendors and IS to ensure medical management applications function appropriately and that all upgrades, enhancements, and implementations are successful.
  • Perform testing of the clinical application systems using User Stories, Test scripts Defect reports.
  • Document identified defects and capture defect evidence within the Application Life Cycle Management system.
  • Attend all testing meetings with Department, Project Team, and Vendor.
  • Work Assigned Error reports on a daily basis. Communicate with Team Lead/Supervisor on any trends identified.
  • Work Assigned Temp member/Provider reports weekly.
  • Work Assigned incomplete Letter report Daily.
  • Assist with document management on the Clinical System Admin SharePoint site.
  • Perform other functions as needed to support the Clinical system admin team.
Skills:
  • 1-3 years of Utilization and Case Management experience, Business Experience (Insurance, Healthcare, Finance, Application Testing Medical Systems).
  • Proficient PC skills in a Windows-based environment (excel, word, access database).
  • Sound Personal Management skills.
  • System administration experience (preferred).
  • Good interpersonal, and personal skills (preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Application testing processes.
  • Knowledge of user stories.
  • Knowledge of defect reporting.
  • Knowledge of agile development and testing methodology.
  • Ability to work with a limited number of vendors (preferred).
  • A clinical background would be beneficial (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high pressured environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends and conduct root-cause analyses.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback with a focus on improved quality.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive/professional manner both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently; complete tasks in the allotted time frame.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills.
  • Teamwork & teambuilding, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness.
Education: High School/GED
