Seeking a Vehicle Development Technician for a full-time position with benefits.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Flash program test s/w releases into company's ECUs within development vehicles
• Utilize in-vehicle data logging systems and drive development vehicles on defined test scenarios to acquire data logs.
• Assess vehicle system performance for degradations & improvements between algorithm releases.
• Post process and perform minor analysis on data logs.
• Create issue tracking entries in the project management application (Jira) to address system performance degradation or deeper analysis from s/w developers.
• Work within a daily team stand-up structure to plan & assign tasks and activities.

Primary Skills Required

• Trailer towing certification desired
• ADAS testing exposure
• Linux operating system – 2 years
• Vector tool chain
• Data logging skills
• Software flashing
• Ability to drive/ride in a vehicle for up to 8 hrs/day.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s license required.
• Ability to connect and disconnect electronic equipment in vehicles.
• Ability to work with a laptop computer.
• Working with data and collecting data, do minor analysis on data logs.
• Experience working with teams. Issue tracking and updating.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook applications.

Education Required

• High School Diploma. Associate degree or college education preferred.

Work Experience Required

• 1-3 years’ experience with computers, understanding of software/hardware.
• Experience working in automotive development environment preferred
• ADAS testing exposure
