About the Job: While working under the direction of a Senior I/O Psychologists, the Assessment Consultant will focus heavily on leading the technical procedures in support of test development, maintenance, and evaluation. Other assignments include ensuring that the GSX team and our clients have the knowledge and tools required to implement professional assessments effectively and efficiently. This role differentiates itself from the “Analyst” role by expecting that the essential functions are not only understood and applied but are also integrated to better understand long term outcomes based on larger efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis on assessments (i.e., pilot-tests, production versions, ongoing maintenance) and surveys using CTT and IRT
  • Provide technical guidance to analysts and project team(s) to ensure consistent technical procedures are being applied; provide actionable feedback to analysts related to products and procedures
  • Identify best practices for technical procedures as it relates to client projects while also recognizing potential challenges and constraints
  • Develop and organize work activities, competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities following job task analysis best practices
  • Distribute a job task analysis survey and assess/analyze results; facilitate subject matter expert workshop(s) to elicit feedback based on survey results
  • Provide support to clients on certification implementation and maintenance through status updates, custom solutions, product adjustments, and process recommendations
  • Conduct and oversee the appropriate procedures to develop assessment items and exams for certification programs (e.g., item writing/review, test blueprint, form assembly, standard setting, test equating, and enemy item analysis)
  • Oversee analysts conducting literature reviews and developing reports for research projects, including reviewing academic and business literature
  • Write technical reports and official documentation to support the defensibility of high stakes assessments
  • Develop visual representations of data analysis for client deliverables and presentations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from accredited university in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychometrics, Education in Measurement, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 5 Experience analyzing data using R, Excel, and SPSS
  • 5 Experience presenting data analysis results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience facilitating subject matter expert panels
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in RStudio, Python, or other programming languages for data analytics
  • Experience using Classical Test Theory (CTT) and/or Item Response Theory (IRT) to evaluate knowledge assessments
  • Knowledge of NCCA accreditation standards
  • Experience in assessment development
  • Active security clearance (i.e., Secret, Top Secret, etc.)
