Position Overview:
As a General Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include forklifting, pulling orders, shipping, and organizing the warehouse to ensure a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklifting: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move stock and organize storage areas. Ensure machinery maintenance protocols are followed.
- Pulling Orders: Accurately pick and prepare products based on daily orders.
- Shipping: Pack, label, and stage orders in preparation for shipping.
- Organizing Warehouse: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Implement organization strategies to improve workflow, space utilization, and safety.
- Inventory Control: Assist in inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and accountability. Report any discrepancies or damage to warehouse management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations regarding warehouse safety.
- Other Responsbilities as assigneed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, specifically with forklifting, order pulling, and shipping preferred.
- Forklift certification, or willingness to undergo training and certification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
