OT Solutions Architect
Description:
As an OT Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for network optimization and virtualization. This role involves working with various cross-functional teams to provide technical support of network environments improving process performance, reliability, and safety. You will be responsible for developing and executing world class industrial control and SCADA digital infrastructure and security solutions. An OT Solutions Consultant will plan and implement security solutions and controls for critical infrastructure, industrial controls, and SCADA systems.
The OT Solutions Architect is responsible for working with clients and vendors to implement project tasks with the established scope of work in alignment with project goals and objectives under the supervision of project leads or managers. This role requires industrial specific technical knowledge and programming best practices.
Job Description. Your main tasks as an OT Solutions Architect will consist of supporting the process control network, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center hardware, switches, routers, wireless networks, fiber, servers, client workstations, and other items associated with the process control network.
The typical duties for this position consist of, but are not limited to:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
CCNA or equivalent relevant experience working with Cisco devices.
VCP-DCV or equivalent relevant experience working with VMware technologies.
Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and common technologies found in domain deployments.
Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware problems.
Understanding of iSCSI, Fiber Channel, and other SAN technologies
Ability to execute a backup strategy and test restore procedures.
Basic database administration skills (Microsoft SQL)
Experience with an array of desktop and server operating systems (Legacy - 2016, 7, 10, 11)
Test and deploy Microsoft security patches in a non-disruptive manner.
Must have project management and leadership experience.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred additional skills:
Knowledge of ISA 95, 99, 62443, NIST800.
Experience within industrial manufacturing facilities.
Experience scripting in PowerShell, VBScript, or other languages.
Experience working in an industrial or other 24/7 environment.
Knowledge of OSI PI or other manufacturing historian and trending packages
Working experience with ABB, Rockwell, Valmet, Siemens, or other DCS vendors, including software installation and configuration
Understanding of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture
Experience with Aruba wireless hardware.
FortiGate firewall hardware
Dell Wyse Zero Clients or HP ThinOS
